Metabyte has a rich legacy in employee innovation and entrepreneurship. In the mid-90’s we provided graphics driver optimization technology to some of the leading graphics controller and semiconductor companies in the industry.
Upon noticing that our innovations in 3D graphics could deliver an unprecedented immersive experience, we funded the development of these concepts and launched a product division branded as Wicked3D.
Wicked3D caught tremendous traction with the PC gaming enthusiasts and. won Editor's Choice awards from magazines like PC Gamer and Computer Gaming World.
Our Wicked3D products were sold worldwide by national distributors like Electronics Boutique in the US, Dixons in the UK, and regional distributors in Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Japan.
